Privacy
This is a portfolio. It does not sell anything, run ads, or build a profile of you. The short version: if you write to me, I use your details to reply, and nothing else.
Who is responsible
Clement Chang runs this site and is responsible for your data. Write to yhchang.workacc@gmail.com about anything on this page.
When you use the contact form
The form sends your name, email address, subject and message to my inbox by email, through the delivery service Resend. It is not stored on this website. I keep the conversation only as long as it is useful for replying to you, and I never add you to a mailing list. The legal basis is replying to your request, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Spam protection
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is sending the form. Your IP address is also used briefly to limit repeated submissions; those counters expire within an hour. This is based on my legitimate interest in keeping the inbox usable.
Visits
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure how quickly pages load, in aggregate. They set no cookies and do not follow you to other sites.
Hosting and images
The site is hosted by Vercel, its photographs are delivered by Sanity, and films stream from Mux. As with any website, their servers receive your IP address and browser details in order to send you the page. Some of these providers process data outside your country, under data-processing terms with the safeguards the law requires.
Films
A film starts loading only when you point at it or open it. Mux, which streams them, receives the requests for the video like any other file delivery. The site does not use Mux’s viewer analytics.
Cookies
The public site sets no cookies. It remembers which collection you were looking at in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
What you can ask for
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how it is used. Email me and I will answer within a month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
